Matcha Cafe Maiko opened its first store in Hawaiiwith the goal of providing customersquality matcha with the authentic taste.
All our products are imported straight from Uji, Japan
Uji is a place in the southern part of Kyoto and is renowned for making topnotch, highly nutritious matcha.
The area is ideal as there is plenty of mist, which protects against frost from degrading product quality.
It's the best place in Japan and they do whatever's necessary to keep that reputation intact.
Our matcha comes from Harima Garden, which has been in operation since 1858. Their product is high quality and delivers a great smell and outstanding taste.
On our menu, in addition to matcha, we also serve hojicha, which is a spicier kind of tea. We have plenty of cool drinks and desserts that are perfect for the hot Hawaii area. We're in the center of Waikiki and the beach and park are all nearby, so you can enjoy some matcha while enjoying the surrounding areas.
Another key point we at Matcha Cafe Maiko emphasize is that all of our products, including the ice cream,
sponge cakes, waffle cones, and even the adzuki bean toppings, are made in-house.
In the US, it's rare for products not to be made in factories and we feel that there are concerns and problems with additives.
We take product quality and safety very seriously and all our products are very carefully selected to ensure quality taste while at the same time delivering satisfaction for everyone.
